At Gumnut House Disability & Aged Care Services, aims to offer quality, holistic care to assist individuals in gaining and maintaining independence and having more choice and control in their future. Gumnut House supports its clients in learning life skills, enabling them to live as autonomously as possible, and to be recognized and respected as community members.
Gumnut House's Mission is to provide a safe and supportive environment in our home our yours ensuring individuals feel secure, respected and valued, while assisting clients learning and maintaining life skills, making informed choices and promoting social inclusion.

Our History
Gumnut House was founded by Mandy and Brett in the Lockyer Valley back in 2017 in the town of Gatton extending their services to all surrounding suburbs as a NDIS Registered provider employing all local staff.
Mandy has over 30 years of experience in the disability sector starting when she was just 18 years young. Mandy progressed her experience over the years from Support Worker to roles in Support Coordination and Management of small to large Disability Organizations. Her expertise, particularly in supporting participants with high needs such as quadriplegics, is unparalleled.
Mandy has always been passionate about enabling individuals to live their best lives without judgement which is her driving force behind starting her own business in the disability sector.
Over the years this passion crossed over into the Aged Care Sector while supporting participants in their mature years.
Mandy and Brett are very proud of the contributions they have made and continue to make enhancing the lives of individuals from Ipswich through the Lockyer Valley to Toowoomba out to the beautiful Somerset Region and South to Warwick.
Our Team
Gumnut House's team of nurses and support staff are all highly trained and dedicated to providing the best possible care. We believe in a collaborative approach to healthcare and work closely with each participant to develop a personalized care plan that meets their needs. These services are based on safety, respect and inclusion.
Gumnut House offers complex care services, supported by the combined experience and knowledge of our team, who collectively have over 100 hours of experience.
